Small quantities of plastic pieces can be
manufactured in the way that you want and with any material by means
of the employment of a simple hand tool heated in the flame of a domestic
kitchen. The course contains the indications to build a couple of models
of this tool.
For those who want to manufacture big
quantities of pieces very quickly, the course includes the planes,
drawings, pictures and assemble instructions of a small table injector (microinjector).
The different methods that exist to build the
molds that can be needed are also explained according if the hand tool or
the microinjector is used, among them the foundry vacuum
method that allows to manufacture cast cavities for injection molds
harder than aluminium and whose surface is so soft that practically don't
need to be polished.
The technique is very simple of
implementing and it is based on the employment of plaster molds, preserve
cans used as hearths, a glass demijohn or gas carafe, a gas torch and a small
air compressor, being the results perfectly comparable to those that are
obtained in the industry by means of the injection of metals. The method
is also applicable to the production of any other type of metal pieces. |
